Women in sport: 50 fearless athletes wo played to win - Rachel Ignotofsky

Throughout history, many women have been excluded from sport. When they were told "You're not strong enough", they replied:

"Wanna bet?"

Women in Sport highlights the incredible achievements of 50 inspiring women from the 1800s  to today, including trailblazers, Olympians and record-breakers in more than 40 sports. 

The courageous women profiled include famous figures like Serena Williams and Clare Balding, as well as lesser-known pioneers such as Tiny Broadwick, the skydiver who pulled off the first free-fall jump in history.
