Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Standard delivery is R100 for orders between 0 kg and 4.99 kg. For orders between 5 kg and 10 kg, delivery is R170.

For orders totalling R1000 or more, we offer free shipping within South Africa.

What are my delivery options?

We deliver directly to your home or office, anywhere in South Africa. All delivery and tracking details will be supplied to you.

How do I get free shipping?

If you spend R1000 and above, delivery is free within South Africa.

When will my order be dispatched?

Once you place your order and we receive payment, we will book your order into the couriers for shipping. Dispatch to the couriers will take place within 2 working days from when we receive your payment. If payment for an order is received on a public holiday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, that order will only be dispatched the following weekday. 

When will my order be delivered?

Once your order is dispatched to the couriers, delivery will take place between 1 – 5 working days.

The address I supplied is wrong, what do I do?

The Story Station does not take any responsibility for incorrect addresses provided or missed deliveries due to incorrect addresses. We will however always endeavor and assist where possible to get you your package. If you have noticed that your supplied delivery address is incorrect, please contact us so that we can correct it with the couriers. 

It's been longer than expected and I haven't received my order yet, what do I do?

If you are expecting your parcel and it hasn’t yet been delivered, please contact the couriers directly using the number provided with the tracking information. If that doesn’t help, please contact us directly and we will assist and escalate from our side.

Returns FAQs

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, please notify us within 7 days. We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will refund the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return.

My order is wrong, what do I do?

If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you, or if the product is not as described on the Website, please notify us within 24 hours. We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will refund the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return.

I received my order, but the product is damaged.

Should a product be damaged at the time of delivery please notify us within 24 hours of such delivery. We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will refund the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return.

How soon will I get a refund on my return?

A refund will only be processed after your item has been received and evaluated by our returns team. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will refund the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return.

If you paid with Credit & Debit Card your refund will be processed via the original payment method used for your order.

If you paid with PayFast you will receive an EFT refund. Funds can take up to 3-5 business days to reflect in your account and are subject to your bank or payment provider’s processing times.

I want to cancel an order, what do I do?

If you've received your order confirmation but not yet paid for your order, then you can request a cancellation by emailing us at info@thestorystation.co.za.

If you have paid already, your order can't be cancelled and your items can only be returned to us after they've been delivered. You can do this by following our returns process, as long as your order falls within our Returns Policy.
