How do I buy a book?

1. Find the book you want to buy

Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of the website. You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top and left navigation bar. When you find a book that interests you, click the title or name of the book to see its details.

2. Add to cart

Found the book you want to buy? Click on Add to cart. Your shopping cart contains all the products that you have selected to buy. Once you’ve added a product to your shopping cart, you can go back and keep searching and adding to your cart. You can access the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the cart button at the top right of the screen.

3. Checkout

3.1. Click Proceed to Checkout after you’ve reviewed the items in your Shopping Cart.

3.2. If prompted, sign in to your account or create a new account if this is your first order.

3.3. Choose your payment method.

3.4 Review your order details and complete payment.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard delivery is R100 for orders between 0 kg and 4.99 kg. For orders between 5 kg and 10 kg, delivery is R170.

For orders totalling R1000 or more, we offer free shipping within South Africa.

How do I pay?

You can pay with your credit card or debit card. We also offer an instant EFT option through PayFast.

When will I receive my purchase?

Once your order is dispatched, delivery will take between 3 and 5 business days (weekends and public holidays excluded).

Will my book look exactly like the photo?

What you see is that you get.

All our secondhand books have researched and inspected by The Story Station Team.

The photos provided of the book have been taken to give the best possible representation of its current condition in order to help you decide if you would like to buy the book or not.

If you would like us to send you more photos or if you require more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Can I self collect my order?

Unfortunately we do not offer self collection at the moment. 

Can I return or refund my purchase?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, please notify us within 7 days. We will process your after the item has been received and evaluated by our returns team. Once your item has been evaluated, we will refund the purchase price within 10 days.

How do I cancel an order?

You are entitled to cancel your order prior to the point at which you receive a notification that it is being shipped for delivery.

Should you wish to return the product thereafter, you can do so in accordance with our Returns Policy.
