The Tetramachus Collection is a volume of papers, housed in the innermost of the Vatican archives, to which only six men should ever have access. But when a crippled Polish priest reads teh Collection he realizes that he has found something the whole world must know about.

Father Martin is no fool. He understands that many people in high places will be upset by the disclosures he wishes to make of the Church's association with the Nazis during the Second World War. But even he cannot guess how desperately they will fight to prevent their secrets becoming public. 

The theft of the documents triggers an internationally explosive manhunt for their possession - and suppression. the Vatican, the Italian Left, a giant banking conglomerate, Israeli Intelligence, and ultimately ISIS - a private intelligence network created jointly by the CIA and the KGB to operate in areas so sensitive their presence must not even be suspected - all tug and pull and scheme dangerously.
